My Resources

Remember those six books I mentioned earlier? Here they are:

  1. “Everyday Paleo” by Sarah Fragoso, Victory Belt Publishing, 2011 – one of my favourites.
  2. “The Primal Blueprint 21 Day Total Body Transformation” by Mark Sisson, Primal Nutrition Inc., 2011 – another favourite.
  3. “Cooking with Coconut Flour” by Bruce Fife, N.D., Piccadilly Books Ltd., 2005
  4. “The Everything Paleolithic Diet Book” by Jodie Cohen & Gilaad Cohen, Adams Media, 2011
  5. “Primal Blueprint Quick & Easy Meals” by Mark Sisson and Jennifer Meier, Primal Nutrition Inc., 2011
  6. “The Primal Blueprint Cookbook” by Mark Sisson and Jennifer Meier, Primal Nutrition Inc., 2010

I’ve also been following Mark Sisson and Sarah Fragoso’s blogs, which are full of information and paleo/primal recipes:

Concerning C. Diff., I’ve been doing a lot of my own research in medical journals. But if you’re interested in the link between Clostridia bacteria and regressive-onset autism, the best place to start is the documentary “The Autism Enigma”, where you’ll find links and updates to Dr. Sydney Finegold’s research, as well as other resources:

  1. Just read your story on C-Diff; i, too, suffer from it. Currently in week #2 of tapering Vancomycin for 6 wks. Live in New Mexico. I gathered you live in Canada, maybe NW Territory? Anyway, thank you for sharing your story. I definitely connected with you, felt your pain & remembered going through similar experiences. Hope you are better & NEVER experience that again.

    1. Hi Debbie! Thanks for your comment – I’m sorry to hear you’re suffering from C. Diff. too. Best of luck in tapering the Vanco – I know how dreadful that stuff is. I’m glad you could connect with my story – that’s been the goal of this blog, really. I found so few resources to deal with moderate-to-severe C. Diff., and so few people willing to talk about their experiences; I hoped this blog might be a shot-in-the-dark to connect people, share information, provide some support… Feel free to post your story here too, to ask questions, etc. I wish you all the best!

  2. Hello,

A functional medicine doctor fixed my GI issues after CDIFF. I had inflammatory bowel and small bowel infection. Elimination diet worked wonders no soy, dairy, eggs, nuts, gluten…pretty much Paleo like you have been doing.

    Helpful resources-SCD lifestyles, Dr Hyman,

    Best of luck,
